DeFuniak Springs, Florida, April 15, 2010 – The Walton County Economic Development Alliance (the Alliance) today announced new TIDE Award applications are now available. The Award, which stands for “Thanks for Investing and Developing,” recognizes organizations and companies that have invested in Walton County during the past eight months.
Tide Award Winners recognized at the February Quarterly Roundtable included DeFuniak Development, LLC, the developers of Hunters Ridge and Northwest Florida State College for the new South Walton Center.
The Alliance will recognize companies and organizations on a quarterly basis through the TIDE Awards. Applications are available by contacting the Alliance office and will be accepted through May 3, 2010. Click here for an application. The next round of TIDE Award recipients will be announced at the Alliance’s quarterly roundtable on May 19, 2010 at the DeFuniak Springs Country Club.
